Cermak (Abernathy); her former husband Russell Hochhalter; her children, Molly Nelson, LauraLea Johnson (Terry Larsen) of Huron, SD, Dale Hochhalter (Jessica) of Sioux Falls, SD, Charla (Chad Ewing) of Madison, SD and Dustin Carmody of Huron, SD; and her grandchildren, Shane Leichtenberg, Larry Johnson (Hannah Hirsch), Orion Hochhalter, Zen Carmody and Jace.
She is survived by: her siblings, Janice Cermak-Sandmeier, Nancy (Roger Semmler), Sandra Cermak, Gary Cermak (Eloise) and Marcia (David Brown). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
