She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Christiansen and Ethel Olson Christiansen of Huron; her husbands, Willie Bartel and Bill Russell; and her grandchildren, Amy Sue Bartel, Tricia Ann Bartel and Branden Bartel.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Bartel (Linda), Cindy Sinclair (Doug), Ted Bartel (Donna), Mel Bartel (Deb), Dale Bartel (Koreen), Nita Sitterley (Tom), Toby Bartel (Tahnee) and Wendi Ford (Kirk); her sister Cheryl Alumbaugh (Don); her sister-in-law Janice Jungemann; her close friends, Donna Meiers and Larri Kahre; and also, Amy Helm, Nancy Napier, Becky Guiot, Jennifer Russell and Lynn Judd. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews.
