As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sharon may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo George and Eleanor Erma Nelson (Hilton); her brothers, Donald Nelson, Dan Nelson, George Nelson, Leo Nelson and Jimmy Kivimaki; and her sister-in-law Kathy Nelson.
She is survived by: her brother Tim Nelson (Brenda Knouse) of Huron; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Nelson of Minnesota and Penny Pernu of Minnesota. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at 1830 Simmons Ave SE, Huron, SD 57350. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery (21453 SD-37, Huron, SD 57350).
