With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Terry Halse of Huron, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Terry left this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Halse and Evelyn Halse; and his granddaughter Nyomi Lynn Halse. He is survived by: his wife Donna Alter of Huron, SD; his children, Nathan Halse of Bemidji, MN, Nicholas Halse (Christina) of Cass Lake, MN, Nolan Halse (Valerie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Nychelle Halse of Sioux Falls, SD and Amber Hill (Ben) of Bemidji, MN.; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zane, Teagan, Mataya, Axel, Joseph, Nyle, Nyonna, Micah, Tatum and Laiken; and his siblings, Gary Halse (Diane) of Peoria, AZ, Jean Mattke (Bob) of Huron, SD and Sally Mattke (Dunnley) of Marco Island, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the American Lutheran Church (155 4th St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
