He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne McNutt and Helen McNutt (Ferguson); his wife Sandy; his sisters, Shelley Palmer and Gloria Paye; his siblings-in-law, Carol Hines, Richard Wait and Robert Schlim; his nieces and nephews, Melanie Nagel, Amanda Weinreis, Dustin, Bradley Schlim and Wayne Jenson; and his great grandchild Colten Bobeldyke.

He is survived by: his children, Kendall McNutt (Deloris) of Huron, Scott McNutt of Huron and Tommie Lewis (Max) of Huron; his grandchildren, Andrew Bobeldyke (Chelsea Lupkes), Joshua Bobeldyke (Chastity), Shyanne Jenson, Michael McNutt, Stephanie McNutt (Marcellus Frank), Tevin Nedved (Abby), Jordan Bechtold, Tia McNutt and Jeff Lewis (Deborah); his great grandchildren, Novaleigh and Seraphina Lewis; his siblings, Michael McNutt (Sandra), Carol Schlim, Dianne Palmer, Rhonda Stanfield (Bob), Julie Labrie (Kevin) and Marsha Jenson (Gene Weinreis); and his brothers-in-law, Roger Wait and Terry Paye. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Park.
