With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Veronica Johnson of Huron, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Rogers and Myron Rogers; her husband Marlin Johnson; and her siblings, Thad Rogers, Marcia Muilenburg and Roberta Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter Nikki Bankston (Jason); her granddaughters, Jordan Vaudrin (Cody), Maddie Vaudrin (Zach) and Jacelyn Bankston (Carter); her great grandchildren, Bentley Campbell, Baron Vaudrin and Bowen Quiram; and her sister Paula Clark (Ron).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish (425 21st St SW, Huron, SD 57350). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
