She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Callies and Adeline Callies; and her husband Allen Merriam. She is survived by: her children, Tricia Sundeen (Ross) of Watford City, ND, Rodney Merriam (Misti) of Sioux Falls, Roger Merriam (Kris) of Watertown and Troy Merriam (Carrie) of Huron; her grandchildren, Maddie Schnell (Alex), Connor Merriam, Brittany Schwieger (Justin), Quinn Merriam, Mollie Merriam (Jordan), Gerrit Merriam (Betty), Chrystal Merriam, Olivia Dwyer (Tommy), Addison Sundeen (Casey) and Avery Suter (John William); her great grandchildren, Graham, Jax, Blakely, Cortland, Lavin, Rhep, Rossi, Maeve and Elin; and her sister Connie Roth of Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350-3660). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church (688 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350).
