With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggy Brooks (Ipswich, South Dakota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peggy left this world on November 19, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Petersen and Verna Lea Petersen (Williams). She is survived by: her husband Jerry Kaul of Leola; her daughters, Tara Rabe (Ben) of Rochester, MN and Talli Dorf (Kevin) of Prior Lake, MN; her stepson Mark Brooks (Shannon) of Wayzata, MN; her grandchildren, Kylie McFarland, Sidney McFarland, Logan Dorf and Kendall Dorf; her stepgranddaughters, Meghan Rabe, Madeline Scott (David) and Isabelle Gallagher; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Delilah Scott and Olivia Scott; and her siblings, Cheryl Holsing (Larry) of Mobridge, SD, Lynda Braun (Terry) of Ipswich, SD and Mike Petersen (Paula) of Cresbard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Schriver Funeral Home (720 6th St, Ipswich, SD 57451). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Church of Christ (203 4th St, Ipswich, SD 57451).
