He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanual Deibert and Alvina Deibert (Gatzkie); his wife Bernice Beck; and his son Myren. He is survived by: his daughter Kerry Hanish (Lynn) of Johnston, IA; and his grandchildren, Samual (Jenny), Abigail (Sky) and Maxwell (Brienna). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Schriver Funeral Home (720 6th St, Ipswich, SD 57451). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (5851 East US-12, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
