He was predeceased by: his parents, Erlin Bak and Carol Bak (Peterson); his sister Teresa Rempp; his grandparents, Oliver, Edna Bak, Melvin and Agnes Peterson; his aunt Lois Stedronsky; and his uncles, Bruce Brockmueller, Russ Stedronsky and Lyle Peterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Frerichs (Mike); his grandchildren, Zander, Alaina and Maverick Hardy; his son Derek Bak of Yankton, SD.; his brother-in-law Daniel; and his aunts, Leone Brockmueller Yankton, Kathleen Holleman (John) of Apache Junction, AZ and Jackie Peterson of Viborg, SD.. He is also survived by his children, son in law, and grandchildren.
