With solemn reverence, we commemorate Eileen Strickler of Iroquois, South Dakota, whose life came to an end on September 14, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Eileen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eileen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ken Strickler; her son Mark Strickler; and her great grandchild Cash Strickler. She is survived by: her children, Paula DeJong (Rod) of Watertown, SD, Kevin Strickler (Susan) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lisa Butler (Kevin) of Green Bay, WI and Kim Strickler. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350-3660). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
