He is survived by: his wife Mary Baer; his parents, Maryann and Fred; his brother Casey; his son Chapin (Lexi); his grandchildren, Nova, Amora and Reese; his godson Hunter Smith; his sibling's children, Tonia Yuker (Billy) and Dustin Kraft; his great-nieces, Bella and Gracie Yuker; his aunt Judy; and his friend Harley "Gunny" Gunville. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Church (105 6th St, Timber Lake, SD 57656).
