She was predeceased by : her husband Angelo Corio; her parents, Caroline Chicoine and Dennis Chicoine; her brothers, Daryl and Bernard; and her uncle Charles Wyant.
She is survived by : her children, Bob Corio (Barb) of Jefferson, SD, Angela Corio and Terri Corio (John Spike) of Des Moines, IA; her grandchildren, Alex Corio, Justin Corio (Sarah) of Windsor, CO, Kyle Corio (Erika) of St. Louis Park, MN, Ian Smid (Amy) of Antonia Smid, AJ and Nicholas Spike (Kristel); her sister Loretta Kortan; and her cousin Marie Spieler. She is also survived by numerous extended family; as well as 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials contributions may be made in LaVonne's name to the Union County Historical Society, Elk Point SD. or to St Peter's Catholic Church, Jefferson, SD.
