Gloria E. Bowar Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria E. Bowar of Kennebec, South Dakota, who passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tagtow and Laura Tagtow; her husband Charles Bowar; her son Rodney; her children-in-law, Donna and Arlen; her sisters-in-law, Mary Schelle and JoAnn Tagtow; her grandchild Laddy Christensen; and her great grandchild Tyra Bowar-Choal.
She is survived by: her daughter Dana Mehrer; her brother Gene; her daughter-in-law Nancy; and her grandchildren, Chaz Bowar (Amy), Tiarra Bowar, Troy Christensen, Elisha Tiede (Brent), Alexis Klumb (Brandon), Jordon Pond, Jesse Bowar, Colton and Ashlyn Tiede. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kennebec Methodist Church. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
