With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Langenfeld of Labolt, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Langenfeld and Marie Langenfeld (Woolven); his brother Jerry Langenfeld; his nephew Rich Langenfeld; and his brother-in-law Ted Wrage.
He is survived by: his wife Kay of Labolt, SD; his daughters, Jenni Langenfeld of Eau Claire, WI, Lisa Fitch (Tim) of Cottage Grove, WI, Sheila Frank (Pete Riley) of Eau Claire, WI and Aimee Wold (Dan) of Eau Claire, WI; his grandchildren, Jace, Mariah, Morgan, James, Anja and Louise; and his sisters, Linda Johns (Joel) of Watertown, SD, Mary Wrage of Watertown, SD and Barb Aarstad (Jim) of Watertown, SD..
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). The military honors will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
