He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Rhoades and Glenn Rhoades; his sisters, Elizabeth Rhoades of Brush Prairie, WA and Norma Matson of La Center, WA; his wife Eunice Kinonen; and his daughter Norma May.
He is survived by: his children, Richard (Katherine Rhoades), Daniel (Nadine Rhoades), Charity (Paul Hill), Darla (Karl Tervo), Denise (Joel Ketola), Nancy (Ron Gilkerson), Nathaniel (Sally Rhoades), Elva (David Kulla), Ramona (James Stenersen), Chester Rhoades of Hermiston, OR, Clara (Anders Sundqvist) and Leona (Tim Traffie); and his siblings-in-law, Stewart Seppanen, Violet Rhoades and Elsie Holsti.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lake Norden Apostolic Church (19139 SD-21, Lake Norden, SD 57248). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
