He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven O. Karban and Angie M. Karban (Morgan); and his brother Larre Karban. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Karban and Cherrlyn Pickering (Jamey); his grandchildren, Bailey Thooft (Tate) and Payton Pickering; and his nieces, Shawn Karban, Kosette Vargas, Jeralyn Anderson and Karla Rounseville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crawford-Osthus/Johnson-Henry Funeral Chapel (107 Main Ave N, Lake Preston, SD 57249). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
