It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wendy Hartman of Lead, South Dakota, born in Astoria, Oregon, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her spouse Thomas Hartman; and her siblings, Susan Lee and Harold Symmonds. She is survived by : her children, Frances Dugan of San Diego, CA, Nathan Dugan of Spearfish, SD and Leland Billings of Grants Pass, OR; her stepchildren, Mike Butsko of Temecula, Michele Dossett of Knoxville, TN and Lori Hartman of Clovis, CA; and her sister Sadie Symmonds of Astoria. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ocean View Cemetery (575 SW 18th St, Warrenton, OR 97146).

In remembrance of Wendy Hartman and Steve Butsko, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the ALS Association in their honor.
