He was predeceased by : his parents, Dell Oliver and Luella Oliver (Hylland); his wife Arlene Gaaskjolen; his sister Della Mae Hatle; his brothers-in-law, Ben Clark and Gay Hatle; and also, Garnet and Vergil Gaaskjolen.
He is survived by : his sons, Monte (Jessie), Darin (Janet), Ryan (Lacey) and Cody; and his sisters, Bonita Lyon (Gene), Darlys Clark and Lynette Even (Ken). He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
