She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Hornung and Geneva Hornung (Wanstedt); her siblings, Milton and Corrine; her brother-in-law Ray Maier; and her niece-in-law Marie Maier.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Carolyn Hendricks (Larry) of Sturgis, SD, Jim Maier (Nancy) of Elgin, ND, Dennis Maier (Tina) of Morristown, SD and Nancy Kappes (Bruce) of Aberdeen, SD.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
