He was predeceased by: his parents, August Blasius and Alby Blasius; his parents-in-law, Alma and Frank Lomica; his brother Glenn Blasius; and his grandson Reed Blasius.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Blasius; his children, Darmi Vogel (Jim) of Parker, SD, Brenda Sinclair of Tea, SD, Tina Lauters (Rick) of Lennox, SD and Russell Blasius (Chris) of River Falls, WI; his grandchildren, Jessica Vogel, Seth Sinclair (Jennifer), Emily Jordan (Brett), Preston Lauters and Madison Lauters; his great grandchildren, Trinity Skrondahl, Taleah McCray, Lyna Jordan and Hayes Jordan; and his siblings, Gary Blasius of Sahuarita, AZ, Dianna "Tiny" Coley of California, Carol "Cory" Thomas (Darold) of Kimball, SD, Teresa Sharping (Curt) of Sioux Falls, SD, Sue Mahrt (Gary) of Oacoma, SD and Linda Jensen (Jerry) of Gregory, SD..
