He was predeceased by : his father Samuel Thigh Jr. Russell of Joe's Indian School; his grandparents, Cephais Goodface Sr., Alice Ann Rencountre, Samuel Thigh Sr. and Nellie Thigh (Thomas); his siblings, Robert Thigh of Lower Brule and Rhonda Thigh; his uncles, Cephais Goodface Jr., Wally Thigh and Chip Loudner; and his aunt Edith Tettinger (Thigh).
He is survived by : his mother Carol Thigh (Goodface); his son Gavin Thigh; his brothers, Ronnie and Raymond Thigh of Lower Brule; and his aunts, Wilma Wilson of Lower Brule, Lucille Skunk of Lower Brule, Sadie Flute of Lower Brule and April Fallis of Chamberlain, SD..
