It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clair Anderson of Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Clair is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Anderson and Selma Anderson (Warns); and his brother Clifford Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Gayla Graff; his son Jody Serfling (Nathan) of Sioux Falls; and his great grandchildren, Joseph and Darby Anderson Schramm.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:20 PM at the Rustand-Weiland Funeral Chapel (320 Egan Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (1010 Washington Ave N, Madison, SD 57042).
