He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Crow and Neva Crow (Stoll); and his brother Leo. He is survived by: his wife Terry VanOrmer Reed of Madison; his stepson John Reed (Nikki) of Winner, SD; and his niece Daphne Pauldin (Anthony).
