Donna McGrath Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna McGrath of Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Woldt and Ethel Woldt (Aldrich); her siblings, Kenny, Carroll, Dwaine, Virginia, Derva, Marion and Mildred; her husband Merle McGrath; her son Bill; her granddaughter Kelli; and her son-in-law Dallas Chapman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carole Ann Van Hecke (Jim) of Colman, SD, Mary Lou Chapman of Fort Collins, CO, Jean Stephenson (Ted) of Fridley, MN, Teresa Watson (Roch) of Flandreau, SD and Patti Beck (Jay) of Madison, SD. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

An early love of farming and family became the foundation for Donna's adult life.
