She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Hyland and Matilda Hyland (Gauthun); her spouse Francis DeVaney; her siblings, Allan Hyland (Rose Mary), Edward Hyland (Evelyn), Mervin Hyland (Mary), Robert Hyland, Stanley Hyland (Eunice), Jim Hyland and Shirley Van Beek (Everett); her granddaughter Cassandra DeVaney; and her great grandchild Mason Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Leighton (Alan) of Rapid City, Jim DeVaney (Jane) of Madison, Mike DeVaney (Sandy) of Madison, Kitty Gustaf (Mark) of Blackhawk, SD, Scott DeVaney (Carla) of Madison and Tony DeVaney (Jennifer) of Madison; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Hyland and Sharon Pederson. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great grandsons.
