He was predeceased by: his parents, Peder Mattison and Cora Mattison (Anderson); his wife Rose Mullen; and his siblings, Carol, Ruth and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Jana Flatebo (Eric) of Kennesaw, GA, Karin Mathison of Madison and Brad Mathison (Lindy) of Tea, SD; his grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Taylor and Dalton; his stepgrandchildren, Brittany, Anna and Abby; his great grandchildren, Charlie and Eliza; and his brothers, Allan of Northfield, MN and David of Norman, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
