She is survived by: her children, Chris Raethz (Emily) of Florence, SD, Kari Booze (James) of Madison and Philip Raethz (Nicole) of Humboldt, SD; and her siblings, Ann Grad of Sioux Falls, Rita Ray (Paul) of Thomasville, GA, Tim Birgen (Rose) of Madison, Laura Palmer of Madison, Mike Birgen of Winfred, Dan Birgen of Shakopee, MN and Bob Birgen (Sandi) of Wyoming. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
