He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. Thompson and Betty Thompson (Klopf); and his brother-in-law George Margeson. He is survived by: his wife Judy of Madison; his son Eric Thompson (Carri) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Hunter Thompson of New York, NY and Bailey Thompson of Oxford, MS; and his siblings, Angie Thompson of Madison, Debbie Kieffer (Clarence "J. R.") of Sioux Falls and Jim Thompson (Darlene) of Madison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
