With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kay Miles of Madison, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kirby and Loretta Kirby (Reif); her brothers, Dean Kirby (Dorothy), Donald Kirby (Alice) and Jimmy; and her brother-in-law Donald Miles.
She is survived by: her husband James Miles of Madison; her sons, Steven (Tammi) of Montrose, Michael (Deb) of Montrose, Mark (Julaine) of Montrose, Patrick (Annette) of Harrisburg and Paul (Makenzi) of Montrose; her brothers, Darrell Kirby (Virjean) of Spencer and Ken Kirby (Vicki) of Sioux Falls; and her siblings-in-law, Jackie Miles and Daniel Miles (Teri). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
