With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVonne Hass (Madison, South Dakota), who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Hass; her parents, Jacob "Jake" Rudolph Habeger and Rosella "Zella" Habeger (Klostreich); her siblings, Jacob Jr. Habeger, Ardyce Samp (Habeger) and Eileen Marek (Habeger); and her nephew Timothy Elden Samp.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Rollyn Samp (Karen), Cindy Boesch (Duayne), Bruce Marek (Benjaporn), Greg Marek (Monica), Gail Spars (Jeff), Sharon Halseth (Mike), Gary VanDuyn (Gloria) and Russ VanDuyn (Midge); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael Samp, Matthew Samp, Rebecca Van of Burg, Elizabeth Antonio, Anthony Boesch, April Boesch, Daniel Boesch, Jacob Marek, Jon Marek, Jason Spars and John Fire. She is also survived by Her family included many great-grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
