With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian J. Pedersen of Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on September 24, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Halstenson and Alice Halstenson (Fry); her husband Ernst Pedersen; her son Scott; her brother Jerry; and her brothers-in-law, Roger and Art Pedersen.
She is survived by: her son Brian (Diane) of Iroquois, SD; her daughter-in-law Pat Pedersen of Lake Madison, SD; her grandchildren, Erin Feldhaus (Kevin) of Howard, SD, Steven Pedersen (Abby) of Madison, SD, Ryan Pedersen (Dixie), Jamie Hodne (Brandon) of Madison, SD and Courtney Hedrick (Wes) of Alexandria, VA; her great grandchildren, Aidyn, Isaac, Karsyn and Trent Feldhaus; her grandchildren, Jordan, Jayna, Beckham, Briggs, Mavrik Pedersen, Jack, Ashtyn, Max Pedersen, Teegan, Krayton Hodne, Reid and Rowan Hedrick; her sisters-in-law, Charmaine Pedersen of Inwood, IA and Marliss Fiscella of Inwood, IA; and her close friend Jean Lemke (Madison).
She was a City Finance Officer, a school secretary, served on swimming pool and library boards, and assisted with daffodil sales for the American Cancer Society.
