Though Marjorie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hexom and Benora Hexom (Olson); her husband Richard Arthur McElhose; and her sister Colleen Tucker. She is survived by: her son Rick (Patricia Smith) of Kettle Falls, WA; her grandchild Tyrel Lawrence (Radhika); her great grandchild Zayvah of Austin, TX; her grandson Aaron Lawrence (Lindsey); and her sister Barb Fiege of Madison, SD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (122 Grant Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church.
