She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Johnson and Helen Johnson (King); and her grandson Alec Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Elvin Schmidt of Madison; her children, Wendy Fossell (Scott) of Sioux Falls, Todd of Wessington Springs, SD and Alan of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Matthew, Jordyn Fossell and Trever Schmidt (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Teegan and Luella Schmidt.
