She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis LeClair and Grace LeClair (Smith); her stepfather Gilbert Haar; her sister Joan Newlon; her great grandchild Wakan; and her brother Jack LeClair.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Schnider; her children, Dawn Reif (Keith) of Salem, Bob Schnider (Donna) of Piedmont, Bill Schnider of Chester, Ron Schnider (Robin) of Salem and Patty Hartsel (Dale) of Brookings; her grandchildren, Kristi Schnider, Josh Schnider, Naome Poppe (Chad), Jess Reif (Jenna), Jesse Lund (Adam) and Nick Schnider; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Hayden, Parker, Teagen, Luella, Rita, Charlotte, Alex, Devyn, Lilly, Emily, Tierra, Dominick, Jerome and Jeremiah.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (340 N Idaho St, Salem, SD 57058). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
