It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sonja Corbin of Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolland Woodraska and Josephine Woodraska (Kurt); her siblings, Bonnie Blocker and Lowell Woodraska; her niece Stephanie Jones; and her son-in-law Doug Bergan.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Kurt" Corbin; her daughters, Jody Johnson (Kenny) of Madison, Dawn Bergan of Madison and Bobbi Lund (Steven) of Howard; her grandchildren, Brooke Moschell (Randy) of Howard, Jamie Bergan (Durrell Davidson) of Rapid City, Austin Lund of Madison, Derek Lund (April) of Madison and Michaela Shay (Nathan) of Sioux Falls; and her great grandchildren, Evelynn, Ramona, Hugh, Sully, Remi, Tavin, Dane and Falynn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willoughby Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Howard, SD 57349). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Prairie Flower Cemetery (41950 227th St, Artesian, SD 57337).
