Carol Elaine Munkvold Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Elaine Munkvold of Marion, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Holsether and Elsie Holsether (Sivertson); her parents-in-law, George and Marie Munkvold; her husband Ordell Munkvold; her son Michael Munkvold (Denise); and her sibling's children, John Heirigs and Anne Jo Clark.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Holsether (Jonny) and Sheryl Heirigs; her sister-in-law Pam Munkvold; her daughter Denise Wyman; and her grandchildren, Michelle Stewart (Adam), Melissa Schultz (Dan), Derek Kosola (Haley), Larry Carrino, David Carrino (Jordin) and Anna Munkvold. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews AND great and great-great nieces and nephews.
