With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine M. Buckmiller of Marion, South Dakota, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony J. Even and Edna Even (Malloy); her husband Rodney Buckmiller; her daughter Mary Buckmiller; her son-in-law Fred Schmer; her siblings, Neal Even, Delores Kerkhove (Charles), Loren Even and Cyrene McKinney; and her in-laws, William, Rose Buckmiller (Dahmen), Roxanna, Lester Reecy, Gladys Buckmiller, Arlyn and Harold Erickson.
She is survived by: her aunt Lucy Malloy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Wellington Church Cemetery (45454 261st St., Humboldt, SD) for current projects.
