He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kuecker and Gloria Kuecker; his brother Marty Kuecker; his mother-in-law Vera Simoni; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Maaske, Joe Simoni, Ron Cheney and Gail Holmberg.

He is survived by: his wife Trease Simoni; his children, Josh Kuecker (Kylee) of Lexington, NE. and Summer Phelps (Jason) of Luverne, MN.; his grandchildren, Reese, Kipley Kuecker, Harper and Jaxon Phelps; his sister Debbie Krecklow (David) of Syracuse, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Kuecker of Maricopa, AZ, Tammy Maaske, Rikki Cheney of Waukee, IA and Mike Simoni (Sue) of Lawton, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
