With sadness, we share the passing of Clark Larson of Meckling, South Dakota. Clark, born on November 11, 1955, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clark Stanley "Toby" Larson; Harriet Hawkinson. He is survived by: his stepmother Miriam "Dolly" Larson (Munsch) of Meckling; his sons, Aaron Larson (Shannon) of Meckling and Michael Larson (Tracy) of Texas; his siblings, Deb Larson of Vermillion, Terry Yanak of Barstow, California and Scott Abbott of Yankton; his nieces, Dawn Hartzler (David), Brandi Jorgensen (Matt), Megan Becker (Josh), Katie Abbott and Madison Hukabee (John); his nephew Derek Yanak (Martha); and his friend Wade Larson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (816 E Clark St, Vermillion, SD 57069). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Meckling Cemetery.
The family asks that donations be made to the Meckling cemetery.
