She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Bertsch and Arlene Bertsch (Kuhlman); her parents-in-law, Sadie Zeeb, Ewald Frederick Zeeb, Ruben Reimann and Ruben Suess; her siblings-in-law, Michael A. Zeeb and Rita S. Zeeb; and her grandson Frederick Brian Carlson.
She is survived by: her husband Doug Zeeb of Peter's Lutheran Church; her children, Kristi Carlson (Brian) of Ortonville, MN, Justin Zeeb (Becca) of Emery, SD and Amber Joyce (Brandon) of Box Elder, SD; her grandchildren, Jason Zeeb, Liam Heltzel, Cora and Thomas Carlson; her siblings, Arie Bertsch (Doris) of Minot, ND, Kenneth Bertsch (Cindy) of Menno, SD, Marlys Huber (David) of Canton, SD and Julie McBee (Steve) of Columbia, MO; Tyler Joyce, Kayla Joyce and Braelee Colhoff. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and members of her church family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zion Reformed Church (220 S Pine St, Menno, SD 57045). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Menno Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Heidelberg Theological Seminary in Sioux Falls, SD.
