Leon E. Schulz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Leon E. Schulz of Menno, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Schulz and Viola Schulz (Schelske); his siblings, Dale, Elverna Stoebner and Donald Schulz; his parents-in-law, Raymond, Nora and Alice Schoon; and his brother-in-law Aaron Stoebner.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Schulz of Menno; his children, Sharon Schulz-Elsing (Kevin) of Sioux Falls, SD, Noel Schulz (Jennifer) of Dakota Dunes, SD and Brenda Schulz of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Marisa, Cole, Tori Schulz, Ripley and Afton Elsing; and his sister-in-law Vernetta Schulz. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

The family asks that those attending the visitation, funeral or interment in person wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines for the health and safety of our neighbors and loved ones.

Memorial contributions in Leon's name may be made to Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota, Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota, and the Menno-Olivet Care Center.
