In the sacred silence of farewell, Gene is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gene's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Toliver and Eva Annie Jones (Cumbie); and his sisters, Nelda Jones-Cleveland and Linda Sue Jones. He is survived by: his wife Audrey of Midland; and his children, Richard Jones (Jesielene) of Navarre, FL, Lisa Foley (Matthew) of Pierre, Brenda Jones-Nierman (Todd) of Bennington, NE, Edna Dale (Roger) of Midland, Linda Jones-Giltner (Brandan) of Meriden, KS, Julie Jones-Whitcher (Jeremiah) of Buffalo Gap and Paula Jones of Rapid City. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the High School. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
