With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma I. Buttke of Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on December 8, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ewald Fischer and Alma Fischer (Buerkle); her husband Eldred Buttke; her siblings, Milton, Arnold, Irma and Beverly; her grandson Luke Rethke; and her great grandchildren, Emily Hanson and Philip Buttke.

She is survived by : her children, Marty Buttke (Deb) of Milbank, SD, Brian Buttke (Susie) of Corona, SD, Regina Rethke (Leslie) of Milbank, SD, Ronda Hanson (David) of Corona, SD, Brent Buttke (Renae) of Corona, SD, Bradley Buttke (Donna) of Corona, SD and James Buttke of Spearfish, SD; and her brother-in-law Richard Buttke (Judy). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
