He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Seehafer and Ida Seehafer (Poel); his wife LaVonne; and his granddaughter Kelly Ann. He is survived by: his children, Brad Seehafer of Mitchell, SD, Kevin Seehafer (Angela) of Ortonville, MN, Rod Seehafer of Alexandria, MN, Rhonda Thyne (Todd) of Corona, SD and Denice Hooth (Shaun) of Wilmot, SD; his grandchildren, Hannah Dombeck (Randy), Haley Seehafer, Isaiah Thyne (Katie), Mykayla Buttke (Cody), Brandon Hooth (Susie), Brittany Pedersen (Jordan), Jesse Hooth (Elizabeth), Austin Hooth (Kayla), Shelby Hooth and Tanner Hooth; his great grandchildren, Harper, Grayson, Sawyer Hooth, Hayden, Emery, Rylie Pedersen, Leyton, Nixon, Watson Hooth, Crosby Masterson, Cooper and Calvin Dombeck; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanore Seehafer of Milbank, SD and Stan Bohn of Fremont, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (701 S 1st St, Milbank, SD 57252).
