He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Anderson and Gladys Anderson; and his brother Boyd. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Mae Mueller of Bellingham, MN.; his sons, Dean (Lois) and Dale (Amy); his grandchildren, Skyler (Andrea), Gabriella, Jesse and Justine (Ty); and his sisters, Lola Voeltz and Phyllis Biedermann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
