She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hartsell and Marie Hartsell (Dailey); her husband Darwin Meis of Mary's Church; her brother Lester Hartsell; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Moe.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Mack (Mike), David Meis of Watertown, SD, Sandra Hepler (Roy) of Himrod, NY, Mark Meis (Julie) of Great Falls, MT and Michele Meis of Maui, HI. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
