He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Saeger and Bertha Saeger (Engel); his brothers, Harold Saeger, Francis Saeger and Warren Saeger; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Lorraine Likness; his siblings-in-law, Carol Likness and Elroy Likness; and his nephew-in-law Chuck Gerck.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Dr. Robert Saeger (Gloria) of Scottsdale, AZ, Carol Gerck of Parker, CO and Janet Hellberg (Bob) of Scottsdale, AZ.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (701 S 1st St, Milbank, SD 57252). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The program continues to flourish today because of the late Earl and Helen Bohlen's donation of the construction of the building and the land on which it stands.
