He was predeceased by : his parents, Milo Wendland and Doris Wendland (Morton). He is survived by : his siblings, Monica Buri (David) of Nemo, SD, Terry Wendland of Savannah, GA, Rodney Wendland (Debb) of Brookings, SD, Timothy Wendland (Sheryl) of Parker, CO, Michael Wendland (Anita) of Milbank, SD, Joel Wendland (Tanda) of Payette, ID and John Wendland (Linda) of Redding, CA; and his close friend Judi Lundin. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephew, cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Milbank City Cemetery (514 Flynn Dr, Milbank, SD 57252).
