He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jurgens and Elizabeth "Betty" Jurgens (Allen); his brother Jamey Jurgens; and his child Murphy Jurgens. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Jurgens of Milbank, SD; his children, Ross Jurgens of Milbank, SD, Katie Spears (Jason) of Aberdeen, SD, Landon Jurgens (Carissa) of Brandon, SD and Jackson "J. J." Jurgens (Kellie Christians) of Milbank, SD; his sister Jeanne Brodrecht (John) of Casper, WY; his sister-in-law Cheryl Jurgens of Milbank, SD; and his brother Charles Jurgens (King) of Owatonna, MN.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
